Environmental policy

Electric machines and transformer construction

Environmental conservation plays a key role in our company’s environmental policy. We are aware that everything we do has an effect on the environment. That is why we consider it our duty to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible by taking advantage of economic and technological opportunities, while also rethinking our processes in order to minimise our impact. To ensure that we act responsibly when it comes to the environment and resources, we must first determine and evaluate our primary environmental concerns using measurable attributes while also meeting all defined environmental objectives and participating in environmental programs.

As part of our collective accountability towards people and the environment, we have set the goal of aligning a profitable production process with environmental consciousness. We aim to do this by improving environmental performance and avoiding or reducing our environmental impact, insofar as this is possible from a technological, administrative and economic standpoint. It goes without saying that we will adhere to the legal and regulatory requirements and other environmental issues, as well as to the environmental conservation requirements we have set for ourselves and, wherever possible, strive to surpass them.

Environmental conservation is everybody’s responsibility. Self-reliance and initiative are what characterise the employees who produce our high-quality products.

Every single one of our employees is responsible for guaranteeing and continuously improving quality, safety, health and environmental protection. By informing and training our employees, we promote their environmentally conscious behaviour both on the job and outside of work.

The continuous reduction of our environmental impact is a medium-term and long-term prerequisite towards ensuring effective cost reduction and making a significant contribution towards conserving the environment.

Flawless organisation, advanced management methods and state of the art environmental technology form the foundation required to achieve this. Managers are required to apply this to their management practices within their field of responsibility, to continuously monitor their effectiveness and to adapt to the latest information available and requirements.

When selecting companies to work for us the compliance with environmental and energy standards is as important as their reliability and quality.

Our product lifecycle spans 40 to 50 years. During or after this lifecycle there are no environmental consequences if the product is simply disposed of as general waste. We are always happy to accept the return of old devices and to dispose of them for our clients.
