The formation of Eltra Elektromaschinen- und Transformatorenbau GmbH took place in 1989; founders are Bernd Engel, Andreas Filz, Robert Weinand and Bruno Zender.
Right from the beginning, the company was specialized in production of single- and three-phase control, safety, energy saving and isolating transformers as well as of chokes and rectifier elements for switch cabinets, switchboard / energy plants and machinery construction.
Besides a large range of standard products, our company has developed sophisticated routines to configure special solutions according to the requirements of an international clientele in different industrial sectors. Targeted communication between construction and production departments and a close cooperation with customers, form the basis for our ability to deliver electro-technical components also for most complex applications.
